Our very own J. Martha Stewart neighbor always bakes extra treats to give to us. And we love it! :) We've been neighbors for almost 4 years, but only in the last year and half have we really gotten to know each other.
Lately, she has been knocking on our door more frequently and presenting us treats. It's a great sign b/c 1) she finds baking so therapeutic and 2) that means she is maintaining her health. :) For several months, she didn't have a chance due to health concerns and time restraints, but since she began her new job -- with regular hours and a 15 commute vs. 1.5 hours -- she's been baking once more.
We are so lucky to have such a thoughtful neighbor. :)
